Hi again....live camera is not working again an records are visible just few seconds from whole footage. This is really annoying as previously it didn't work for over 2 weeks, then it all worked for 2-3 weeks and now again nothing already for couple days. I am even paying for subscription, but it thing the money would be spent same way if l throw them out of window. I'm very dissappointed and woudln't reccommend this product to anyone!!!

Judging from the many reports from other customers in this forum, the Google Nest Camera (Battery) seems like a flawed product when it is running on battery power. Customers report that because it is "Idle" most of the time, it seems to not wake up in time to record events, and the events that are recorded are cut off. Some customers report they don't get notices for events and/or some events aren't recorded. The camera cannot record 24/7 when running on battery power. Some customers report problems trying to charge the camera, and problems with the battery running down. Some customers report the camera going offline when running on battery power.
In contrast, we've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) since Sept. 2021, plugged in with the optional power cord. It is "Live" all the time, records 24/7 with our Nest Aware Plus subscription, captures complete events, sends notifications for events, and the battery stays charged at all times. Our only complaint is that it lacks several functions of our older cameras because it works ONLY with the Google Home app, and we have to use the Google Home app to view and administer the camera.
