Hi,
I've got a pair of wired 2nd Gen Nest Cams and would like to adjust their sensitivity, specifically to stop notifications based on outdoor lighting changes. The cameras are constantly sending notifications that they've spotted people and animals, but every detection turns out to be a shadow movements and brightness changes (such as when a cloud blocks natural sunlight -- clearly a planetary issue -- and in turn the indoor space becomes dimmer or brighter).
I've researched online how to make adjustments, mostly finding Google's documentation is out of date or just not accurate in regards to the Google Home iOS app, and I've searched through the app's settings and only see options to turn detection types on and off, such as animals and vehicles -- I'd like to continue to receive notifications if any animals or vehicles pass through my office! Yet so far, it's just been a constant stream of false alarms.
Any and all advice is welcome - thanks for reading.

Hey Jamie-NYC,
While Nest strives to send notifications only when the camera senses important activity, false positives may occur as a natural outcome of using algorithms to process video. These algorithms learn and improve over time, limiting the number of notifications you’ll receive. If you find you’re still receiving unwanted notifications, try to adjust your Activity Zones to see if that helps.
Thanks,
Archie
