Hi,
after a very user friendly setup of the Google Nest Camera (Battery) we activated the home/away assist and both myself and my wife connected our phones geolocation to the Google home app. The idea was for the camera to be off when someone is home in order to save battery and ensure privacy when we are home. However - despite us being home and the ”home” button being activated in the Home-app the camera still activates and records when we move around. I have followed the instructions but this still activates.
Also - is it possible to set it up so that the camera cannot be activated when someone is home?
thanks!

Hi Brad, thanks for the reply. It seems the functionality did exist but it took a while for it to go live. It kicked in a day later. No clue why. So now it works as intended.

Hey there,
It may be that some, or all, of the features you are asking about are not available at this time in the app. I would suggest that you share this experience with us in the app, as we’re always looking for ways to improve, and appreciate your feedback. You can send it at any time using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps found here.
Best regards,
Brad
