Hi There,
I recently purchased a nest system for my house including the Nest Doorbell (Battery) and several Nest Indoor / Outdoor Cameras (Battery). Everything worked well for a few weeks. All of a sudden the Nest Doorbell just went offline. I've tried every type of troubleshooting I could find online, including attempting a soft reset and a hard reset using a paperclip in the back pinhole for 12seconds. No luck. Is my doorbell defective, or is there another solution?

That doesn't sound very good. You could try contacting Google Nest Support starting with this link:

ive got the same issue. it last logged in on 23 September and since then hasn't been responding. I can do soft reset but it still doesn't connect and won't move onto hard factory reset. any ideas?

Hi folks,
I appreciate your help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks for trying to troubleshoot your Nest Doorbell (battery). We appreciate your efforts here. Let’s sort this out — a few questions: what’s the status light of your doorbell? How far is the doorbell from the router? Is it fully charged or plugged into the wall outlet? Also, were there any changes to your WiFi network?
Going over the steps here might help:
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
JT
