I have a Nest Doorbell Wired 2nd Gen and I'm trying to figure out how to make the Home app notify me about the doorbell button being pressed in a more noticeable way than a basic notification. Ideally when somebody presses the doorbell button I'd like the app to keep ringing (like for an incoming video/phone call), display an "incoming call-like" UI, and only stop if I don't answer or the person at the door leaves. Basically exact same UX as any video call app. Is that possible?

Alternatively, is there a way to integrate the doorbell with Google Meet so that ringing the doorbell triggers an incoming call in Google Meet?

All that Google Nest does right now is to send a standard notification to our phones when the doorbell button is pressed. Other customers have also asked for an option to provide a more noticeable notification.

Looks like Pixels support this in a way through the At a Glance screen. I might just need to build my own app to do this...

Hello everyone,
@lsnk, thanks for posting here in the community. We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature to the Nest app or Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
I appreciate your response, MplsCustomer.
Regards,
Emerson
