I have had the doorbell for less than 2 years. The microphone on the doorbell is barely working. I've checked the router connection..its strong. I've done the factory reset, no joy. I've even taken a q-tip dipped in alcohol and its still barely audible. I have my phone and my hubs turned up to max and we can barely hear the person at the door.
Please help

Hi there,
Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you. First off, I have some questions I’d like to ask you.
Do you still need help with this issue?
What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?
Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?
If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Brad.

I am having the same issue. It no longer has audio in the live feed & its very hard to hear someone on the talk N listen. I can hear if someone talks right next to it or taps on it but otherwise I have no audio. It used to pick up all the traffic going by, mowers , dogs barking etc.... Ive tried a restart, Ive tried a factory reset, ive reset my router & modem, Ive uninstalled the app & reinstalled. Ive discussed it with a technician who told me to do all the things I already did. This is a wired version. It still has warranty until December so its not even 2 years old. Its in a protected area from the elements for the most part. One day it just stopped working. I need help!!!!

Hey folks,
Give it a restart if you haven't already. Also, which mobile devices do you guys use? I have heard that some Samsung/Galaxy users have a really hard time with this issue and hearing alerts and other sounds. It could just simply be an issue with the device needing to be restarted. Please let me know if a restart or an entire Factory Reset does the trick for ya'll.
Best Regards,
Brad.

Hi Brad!
We ended up calling Nest & they said we had done all we could do with it outside of replacing it. So they honored the warranty & shipped us a replacement doorbell. We wired it up & it works great again! I can hear & im getting notifications again. Hopefully it lasts longer the first! Thanks!
