Nest Hello has green light, but won't factory reset

The app showed the camera as connected but not available.  I removed it from the app and attempted to reset it.  The green light goes to blinking but the doorbell blue light never comes on.

Thanks for reaching out. Oh no! We’re sorry to hear that. No worries, we’ll sort this out. Has there been any recent power outage in the area? Are the wires at the back of your Nest Hello doorbell properly connected? When did the issue start? What’s the voltage of your transformer? Also, has it been exposed to direct sunlight? Did you notice any damages on the wires?
 

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Remove the wires from your Nest doorbell. Then, reconnect the wires. Ensure that they’re snugly fit into the screws.
  2. Factory reset your Nest doorbell. 
  3. Use a micro USB cable, then connect it to a computer (Mac or Windows). If the light pulses blue it means your Nest doorbell is working. Reinstall it to the wall plate and check if the issue is fixed.

Green light goes away when disconnected from door bell power supply.  Once reconnected it comes back on.  Still, unable to connect to device.  Micro USB connected, still unable to connect.

Ah, gotcha. We appreciate you for trying. What happens when you plug it into a computer? How’s the status light? Does it have a pulsing blue light or the LED just shows a green light?
