Hi just wanted to ask if anyone is having issues with the live camera jolting/lagging? I have 5 cameras and 1 doorbell and all do the same thing. In live view every 5-10 secs they will freeze for 1 sec then continue, then freeze for 1 sec and so on, not a continuous stream. I have troubleshooted alot, i have a mesh setup so i bypassed it and connected directly to the router wifi, factory reset some to test, even setup a 5g connection and connect the camera to it to test so no home wifi at all and it still has the same lag issue, it sounds like a hardware or software update issue but im not sure if anyone else has this issue?...short of taking one camera down and going to a family members house to setup and check not sure what else i can do, any advice on what to try?

This could mean you have weak Wi-Fi signal strength at your cameras' locations, and/or insufficient Wi-Fi bandwidth. Has this happened ever since you set up your 5 cameras and 1 doorbell?

Thanks for the reply, WIfi strength in really good, speed test results are full speed up and down. Im pretty sure its only happened within the last month-month and a half, when installed in july was no problems, i tried uninstalling the beta home app and installed an older version and still same issue, i think its a software issue as i have tested every thing, my bandwith seems like its enough as the tp link app has live bandwith data and it only hits half upload max that i can see. I took one camera down plugged it in next to the router, turned off all cameras apart from 1, and still same issue. I will take it to a family members house reset it and see if its the same, if it is its def software issue ill report back

Are you by any change on the new "preview" version of the Google Home app? If so, are your symptoms like the ones reported on this post?

Hey there,
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad
