Nest app not connecting product

I'm having issues connecting this product to the nest app so I can save videos and so on, but I google home  app works phenomenally, what could be the issue? I'm at a loss

Can you clarify your question.  Exactly which product to you have?  If you have a newer Nest Camera then they only work with Google Home app.  The new cameras do not work with the Nest app.

A year ago, Google Nest's Vice President addressed this gap between its old and new cameras and doorbells, and promised solutions, but nothing has happened yet:
