Anyone else have this constant red line for activity zone outside of my named zones.

It's been doing this for 5 days, I've even restarted and redone the activity zone but hasn't helped

Have you tapped the icon with the three dots/three horizontal lines? That shows clips of whatever seems to be consistently being captured. While in that view, there is also a filter button you can play around with to see if it’s motion or sound or something else that the camera may be capturing.

Worked it out in the end

It was the smoke alert that went off while I was going DIY

It started recording and even though I stopped it in the app or by pushing the button it was recording and wouldn't clear.

I had to delete my recordings for the last 30 days and it stopped

Luckily I have a back up ip camera or I would have got goggle to sort it albeit I doubt they would have

Ok now THAT is odd.  I have never seen that before. I can't even think about how to trouble shoot that.

Make sure you have the newest version of the App.

Ummmm, as a trouble shooting test can  you point the camera in a complete different direction for a few minutes and see if it remains?

Here is another thing that you can try. Click on the 3 little dots in the upper right corner.  You will see (2) options to report this to Google.  I would report this on both of them.  Also, you are given the opportunity to include the screen shot to Google so they can see what you are seeing.

Thanks for the update.  So I have (4) Nest Smoke detectors.  Are you saying if they go off then they show up in the timeline for the cameras?   That might be pretty cool if it were labeled as such so it wasn't such a mystery.  I can see that confusing a lot of people.
