Nest cams to Wi-Fi after router upgrade.

Have multiple line powered Nest cams, mostly outside up high, but also have one indoor cam, and one door bell cam.
Cable company updated router, but kept same SSID & password.  None of the Nest devices came back online.
I was able to get the doorbell cam online with the app, but all other devices want codes or a QR code I don’t have.

I thought the inside camera on a table would be the easiest. Instructions say code on bottom, but there is not. Looked with a magnifying glass. Just a FCC approval number, and an electrical approval number.

I am a senior and will need to get someone to go up a ladder for me on the outside cams, but don’t want to do that until I know what needs to be done.  Such a simple change should not be this hard.

suggestions appreciated.

It depends what model of cameras you have. Here are the detailed steps:

Thanks David. Indoor cam done, will proceed with those outside.
Seems the short answer, is after a router upgrade, even with same ssid & password, all cams must be removed from google app, reset, then reinstalled. The indoor cam code is hidden under the base plate.  Still need to figure out where that code will be on the outside cams.

Did you setup your outdoor cams with the Nest app, or the Home app?

For cams setup with the Nest app, the QR code and setup code is physically printed on the back of the camera. For cams setup with the Home app, the QR code is printed on a sticker that was over the camera itself. If you unplug the power cable, the setup code is physically printed on the back of the device near the power connector.

IIRC The doorbell cam had to be set up in the Nest app, but the outdoor cams had to be done on the google home app. If the code is physically printed on the outdoor cams and has not worn off with weather, and the reset hole easy to find, should be ok. I have both hardwired with flood lights, and cams with a power adaptor cable that goes up through the soffit, and into the garage to plug in.
