I have a Google Mesh wifi and google cameras and a google Nest battery doorbell. When the Nest doorbell is rung I can see the video feed from my phone Home App just fine but on my Home Nest Hub it shows either a white screen or black screen when either the doorbell is pressed or when I try get a live feed. The google cameras show up fine on the Nest Hub.
I've checked the setting of Preferred Activities on the Mesh wifi and the Video Conferencing option is not selected (which I've read in another thread is a problem) I've even toggled it to selected to see if it solved the issue, still nothing.
The connection strength varies between weak and great for the doorbell but in either case, it streams fine to my phone.
Any ideas?

Have you tried removing your Nest Hub from the Google Home app, doing a factory reset, and then re-installing it?

Unfortunately that didn't work. Same problem. I even got another nest point and placed it within a metre and a half of the doorbell. I thought that maybe the reason why I was getting a white screen was that the Hub was trying to access a high resolution video feed whereas on the phone Home App it accesses a lower quality feed so maybe that is why it works on the phone but not on the Hub.
Unfortunately, that didn't solve the issue either. It doesn't make sense that the Hub accesses the Battery Google camera feeds fine but the doorbell it is a no go.

Hey there,
Ohms76, I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Could you try turning off and on the Visitor announcements on your Google Home app settings? If that doesn't work, let's try to create a new home structure and add your Nest Doorbell and Nest Hub and see if that helps. To isolate this, set up your doorbell and Nest Hub and connect it your mobile hotspot.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks,
Archie

Thanks for the response. I just solved the issue yesterday. Had to reset the doorbell and add it again. No idea why that solved the issue considering was getting live feeds through the app and announcements already. But anyway, resetting the doorbell worked.
Thanks, anyway.
