Are the nest doorbell wired peeling issues some sort of recall because I too have a peeling doorbell?

Hey there,

Thank you for your patience. We do not process these requests in the Nest Community Forums. If you are seeking a replacement, please first fill out this form so Support can collect some important information from you. Once the form is submitted, you will have your case number.

Please note; if your device is out of warranty, I am afraid there is nothing more that can be done, and you will not be receiving a replacement.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Same I noticed mine today when I had to reset it (WiFi issues). We got it in 2019 so out of warranty but it seems to be a common issue.

Amy idea if this would be replaced

@Brad Any ideas? I've seen you've put a few replacement requests in?

I tried to speak to Google support but no luck as it's out of warranty, not sure if that's right or not as I've read some posts that seem to indicate it's a defect that can be replaced?

I am having the same issue.

Same issue here, but it's only 1year old and this one is replacing another doorbell which had lost it's lens cover. The old one didn't have it this badly. As long as the lens cover stays in place to protect from the water, it's usable.. but will it when the plastic is losening?

@Brad you seem to create replacement cases, so Serial nr 19AA02CT40200HP8

You'll get a replacement for sure as the warranty is two years.
