Hello,
When will the timeline history be available in the home app for next outdoor cameras?

Hi Andybrad,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, do you have a Nest Aware subscription? Are you referring to a customer clip that you can download from the Google Home app?
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Emerson

Hi, yes I have the top tier nest subscription.
It's the use of the nest outdoor cameras ( these may be legacy products now?) I can see clips in history but due to events not being recorded I want to scroll through the timeline. How can I do this in the home app?

We still cannot scroll through 24/7 history in the Google Home app for the Google Nest Outdoor Cameras and other cameras and doorbells installed in the Google Nest app. We still have to use the Google Nest app or the home.nest.com website.
Google Nest is just now beginning to allow customers to test out moving just their 1st gen indoor cameras to the Google Home app; see this blog post:
Regarding other cameras, Google Nest says only this in the post: "Older cameras other than Nest Cam Indoor will remain in the Nest app until we support their ability to transfer to the Home app."

Hi everyone,
@Andybrad, thanks for getting back to us. Try using the Nest app and select your Nest Cam Outdoor from the home page. You'll see there the 24/7 continuous video recording with day and time. You can also select the 60 days icon on the lower left and select a specific date.
Give these steps a try:
Create custom clips while watching the live video stream or after rewinding your video history.
To learn more, you may visit our public article about “Save and download video clips”.
I appreciate your help, MplsCustomer.

Emerson

Hi,
That's kind of the point. When will this be rolled into the home application?
Thanks
Andrew

Hey Andybrad,
Thanks for getting back to us. We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature to the Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Let us know if you have additional questions.
Best,
Emerson
