Nest video fps drops dramatically with more than four cams?

We are using Nest in a small business setting with 3-6 cameras per site in a few disparate sites.  With 3-4 cameras the video (mobile app, in-house, and remote viewing of Nest Home) is generally full motion.  When adding a 5th camera the entire setup drops to about 1 frame every 5-10 seconds, totally unusable.  Each site has 20-30Mbps upload and a gigabit network using cat6 cabling. Any suggestions for a fix?

Sounds like your wireless network might just be getting completely congested, too many clients trying to share airtime with only a single AP?  Channel set on the AP to frequency that is already polluted from surrounding networks or other interference sources?  Try switching channels or even switching bands and see how things change. I don't think it's a Nest problem.

Thank you.  Actually, each site will have an AP for each camera (different rooms.)  We'll see if channels helps.
