I opened a new gmail account for my husband. My email was the recovery account. My Nest camera and my You Tube Tv decided that it was going to use the new address and password (without asking!). Now Nest doesn't even recognize the new email account and it wants to set up a whole new account. I'd like to change it back to the original email sign-in and password. I've been working on this all morning and Nest support just said start a new account, but then I lose all of my previous video content. How can I go back to what it was before?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Nest account. Let’s check it out.
A few questions: what type of Nest cameras do you have? Are you using an iOS or Android device? Also, do you use Google Home or the Nest app for the Nest cameras?
The Nest cameras can’t be linked to another account unless the cameras have been removed from the original account and the devices have been reset to factory settings.
I’d like to dig deeper into this. Do you have the case ID from the interaction with our support team, so I can check what happened?
