New Nest Cam Battery does not show up in Nest App

I have two Nest Outdoor Pro cameras on my nest app. I bought the new Nest Cam Battery as an indoor camera. It made me set it up in the Google Home App and once I did it does not show up in the Nest app or nest website... why?

All newer Nest products are only supported in the Home app.  The Nest app has been getting phased out for a long time now.

Is there no planned support for Nest Battery cameras in the Nest App?  The google app is so kludge and difficult to navigate compared to the Nest app (looking at cams, scrolling through history/time, getting useful notifications, etc.).

I also purchased a new nest outdoor battery cam thinking it would appear in my nest app along with all of my other cams and thermostats.
