Recover footage for an investigation

I would like to recover my deleted history for a criminal investigation. Everywhere I am reading states it's not recoverable.  If I can't recover it can law enforcement request it and retrieve it for me?  What does it mean stored in the cloud, does that mean even after deleted?

@cmarie225

The link below explains what video history you get for each camera and doorbell for each type of subscription. Video history is stored on Google Nest's servers ("on the cloud") until the history expires, at which time it is deleted.

I understand what storage I have with my subscription, just wondering if there's still a way to recover after deleting history.

@cmarie225

As I indicated above, video history is deleted once it passes the subscription expiration period. The link I provided above says:

"All video history is deleted on a rolling basis. This means that, depending on the Nest Aware subscription you have, older saved video is deleted from the cloud after a certain number of days."
