Strange sounds from my nest cam

On a regular basis the camera hears sounds when no one is home.  It is unnerving as it sounds like someone closing a door, but no one is home at the time.  The sound happens a few times a month and can happen day or night.  The camera is approximately five years old.

@christopherf thanks for reaching out. That behavior is really confusing but have you tried any troubleshooting steps? Try performing a simple restart to your Nest Camera. Keep us posted.

We appreciate your efforts here. Let’s sort this out — when did the issue start? Were there any changes to your Wi-Fi network? Are there radio frequency emitting devices or baby monitors near the camera? Also, could you share a sample clip of what’s happening so we can take a closer look?

It hasn't happened for several weeks.  I'm not sure what it was, but it sounded like a door closing and latching.

It was very unsettling as it sounded like someone was in the house!

Uh oh! May I know what type of camera you have? Could you place your camera in a different location? Once done monitor your device and see if it happens again.
