Hello, I am a long-time Nest Hello user. Originally I bought this Nest Hello for my father, we then added the Nest Thermostat as well. He made me a member of the house years ago via the Nest app. He has since passed and I now have the Thermostat and doorbell. I have uninstalled the Nest app on my phone and reinstalled it, added both devices to my account, and migrated yet when I try to link to my Google Home account it will not accept my login information to set up the works with Nest or works with Google. I am really struggling to add my doorbell and thermostat to my google home account and I feel like I need a google wizard to help me reset my password for Nest because every time I try to follow the path to have it reset I never receive the emails. I feel like I am stuck in a loop here.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, Mshimmin. Try these steps:

As for the thermostat, links below depending on the model you have:
Knowing the models you have is important as different models require either the Nest app or Home app.

Hi everyone,
@Mshimmin, I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Doorbell? Were you able to read the information and check the link that davidking has shared? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
I appreciate the help, davidking.
