Video does not show color

When watching my nest cam on my phone it does not show color

This started happening to one of our Google Nest cameras and after reading a post in this forum, we tried toggling Night Vision off and on a couple of times, and that resolved the problem.

Hey there,


Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally. 

 

Following @MplsCustomer's advice with turning off and on, the Night Vision feature would also seem to work. Give that a try, if this first restart doesn't do the trick.
