Why isn't the Nest Doorbell chime instant to nest devices?

Why isn't the Nest Doorbell chime instant to other nest devices in the home? This seems like a huge oversight, or lack of vision with the nest product line.

Also, there is no way that I can find in the google home app to edit the sound of the chime. For a smart doorbell it sure seems pretty dumb.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience you have had with your new Nest Hello Doorbell. I would love to look into this further for you. 

I can let you know first, there is no option to change the Chime sound unfortunately. Default sound is the only one available. And as for your Chime, if it is super delayed, there may be an issue with the installation, or possibly even an issue with the chime itself. Did you install the chime yourself? Or did you have a Nest Pro come and install it? Please let me know if you still need assistance with this issue.
