google nest cam v2 not connecting to new wifi

Hi, I got a new router set up a new wifi at home, removed nest cam V2 from home app as I read in instructions. Now when I try adding it, the cam is not found... If I check routers theter app I can see that the cam is not connected to WIFI... The light on cam is green. I guess the cam is somehow still "connected" to old wifi... I then switched off new router, setup old wifi just as it was before and still no success... How can I fix this?

Sounds like you've already tried the right steps. I'd recommend a factory reset.

Hi. Tnx but how to perform factory reset on a cam v2? There is no button for that and I don’t see the cam in app anymore

Scroll down to the bottom of that article. It has instructions for each model of Nest camera.

hi again 🙂 I’ve read this article over and over before posting here as well… the problem is V2 doesn’t have reset button and everything I should do in app I already did… and now I don’t see the cam in app…

By V2 do you mean Nest Doorbell 2nd gen (wired)?

Oh sorry no, nest cam indoor wired v2

No worries! So that would be Nest Cam (wired), at the top of the list of models?

Nope, that’s the first version, version 2 doesn’t have reset button

Hey! Sorry I feel like a total idiot… I found the reset button… Tnx

It sounds likely then you have one of the original Nest Cam Indoor, not to be confused with Nest Cam IQ Indoor. Removing it from the app should have reset the camera. Apologies for the confusion!

For setup, are you using the Nest app? Do you see an error message or code?
