google nest camera not showing video

hello. i have had this issue for over a month. my nest indoor battery camera does not capture live video when someone walks in front of the camera, and it also does not display the live video feed in the google home app as well. i have tried contacting support multiple times and they have not helped me at all. i do not believe it is a wifi distance issue because the camera has been in the same place since it was installed and this issue only started about a month ago. any help would be greatly appreciated!
