Hello,
I have a google nest hello and I linked this with Smartthings. The streaming is working fine if I check it via the IOS app but not via the app on my Samsung tv Q60. It says after loading to click on refresh again.

I have found a fix for my situation and it might help others. I have 3 nest cams and 2 of them would work through my TV but not the Nest Hello. I found the only difference in settings was the quality the Hello was set to, tunrs out it needs to be set to medium for it to show on the TV.

Hey folks.
My gut feeling is that this may be related to iOS 15 which is giving iOS users similar issues with their cameras. Restart your cameras again, and try to make sure that your devices are all up to date.
Best regards,
Brad.

Hi Brad,
I don't have a iOS, i have a android phone. But the problem is the smartthings app on a samsung tv. The doorbell feed is not working on the TV.

Hi Brad,
Thankyou for reaching out. I have been successful with the temporary work around by setting the nest hello doorbell quality to medium and this now streams to my Samsung frame tv via smart things.
However I would still like to set my nest hello doorbell to high quality. Can you assist in with getting this resolved?
Kind regards
Ryan

I am glad to hear that the workaround is working for you! In the meantime, here is an article on how to change your Nest Hello Doorbell's video quality. This thread will now be locked.
Best regards,
Brad.

I am experiencing a similar problem. I cannot get Smartthings to even recognize that the Nest Hello doorbell is there.

Same problem here. I can see the cameras and Nest Hello on my smarthings app on my phone and can see my other Nest cameras on the Samsung TV Smart things but the Nest Hello doesn't show me a preview or view. It pops up with a notification but no preview and then when I click it, I get a spinning circle and then it tells me to refesh. Doesn't matter whether I get there from the notification, via the smart things app and go directly to the cameraa (under Service) or scroll to the doorbell under Devices. It never shows me the view, always says I need to refresh

Hi @101uk I have just dropped my nest hello quality to medium and low and behold it works.
Thank you for you help.
Let's hope this is addressed by Google/ nest and smarthings as realistically I would like to run high quality in the future. How can we log this formally?
