I'm connected to internet but won't stream.

 I just started having this problem last week. I've factory reset ever ChromeCast I have. Tried connecting to both wifi's I have. Nothing. None of my apps allow the streaming symbol to show up anymore. I can't cast from Netflix, disney+, etc.

But its weird because I have a Google mini and I can tell them to stream something from Netflix and it will cast no problems. Any help would be appreciated?

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine this is quite frustrating to deal with. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • How many Chromecast devices do you have? Are all of them having this issue?
  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast devices?
  • Is your Google Home app up-to-date?
  • Are you able to cast from another device, such as a computer or tablet?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Go ahead and follow the steps listed in this article for now, as these steps help with connection issues like the one you are experiencing.
