"group delay correction" missing on builtin chromecast of nvidia shield pro 2019.

The audio setting "group delay correction" seems to be missing on the builtin chromecast of the nvidia shield pro 2019 android TV box.
My Nvidia Shield is uptodate with v9.1 (android 11).

Use case is:

When I setup multiple speakers (nvidia shield + googlechromecast gen3) as a group within the google home android app I often find the need to do small corrections to the audio sync.

This can be done on the google chromecast gen3 device.
But no such option seems to be available for the nvidia shield device.
This is the main culprit.

So if I group my shield chromecast along with a google chromecast gen3. then I am only able to correct the audio sync on the google chromecast gen 3. and not on the nvidia shield itself.

In my actual usecase the nvidia shield renders the audio a few ms earlier than the google chromecast making it sound like too much reverb is going on.
Only being able to delay the audio on the google chromecast does not help me here as its already delayed too much - it only makes it worse.
Ideally I would have to delay the audio on the nvidia shield - but as stated, the option is missing.

Here are my steps I do in order to change the audio sync. for the google chromecast:
In the google home app (android) I locate my google chromecast device.
then click settings icon, then sound.
there I have the "Group delay correction" slider.

Will this option become available at some point in time for the nvidia shield ?

Hey there gibman,

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! I went ahead and looked into this, and after checking the group playback delay article, it doesn't look like Chromecast built-in TVs have the option. I was able to confirm with my Vizio TV with Chromecast built-in. If this is a feature you'd like to see in the future, I'd recommend that you submit feedback via the Google Home app. The more feedback Google receives regarding a particular feature, the more likely they are to prioritize it.
