Chromecast remote is not working

My chormecast remote is showing a solid light.Changed the battery, tried to paid as suggested ( taking the battery out, putting it again while holding the home button...) did not work.What is the solution?

Sound with black screen when casting

Chromecast setup defaults to wrong google account
