30% Price Increase for what?

Just got email from Google saying my Nest Aware Plus subscription is jumping from $150 to $200 - without any legitimate reason or improvement in services. Playback of events is spotty, at best, with freezing or spinning wheel at least 50% of the time. Why should I be paying 30% more for this??

Agree they have put mine up by about the same percentage increase in the UK, 33%. For what ? what else do I receive... the answer to that is nothing, so Google gets nothing from me either.

Ring's Standard ($99.99/year) and Premium ($199.99/year) subscription plans include extended warranty coverage for cameras and doorbells, the event video history is for up to 180 days, and the 24/7 history in the Premium plan is for up to 14 days (for up to 10 cameras).

If Google Nest is going to charge these same prices, perhaps they should provide similar coverage.

They increase their prices, because 90% of the members don't care....what have they got to lose?.....NOTHING..WE ARE SUCCERS AND THEY KNOW IT.

I uninstalled my three cameras and purchased/installed the Reo-link literally 1000 times better

100% agree!!! This is ridiculous! The service isn't reliable to say the least. There have been multiple times I've had a video alert where it looked like it might be an emergency but the video of the event was not immediately available and it took 5-10 minutes before it was! In an emergency, it needs to be available immediately!!!

The playback and scrolling of a video is terribly choppy. How the hell do they justify this price increase when the service is so bad!? Especially when some services like my Yale lock are still managed in the nest app!
