First gen subscription refund

If my first generation subscription runs out in 4/2024, will I get a refund of unused funds if I migrate over to google now? And with the newer pricing plan of aware plus can I add cameras at any time under the ‘all’ cameras one price subscription? Thank you.

According to the Help page below:

"If you have a Nest Aware 1st gen subscription, you can switch to the latest Nest Aware subscription (2nd gen). When you switch, you get a prorated refund for the unused time on your previous subscription."

Judging from a few posts in this forum, it may take awhile to get the refund.

We have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, and whenever we've added cameras or doorbells to the same Google Nest "home/structure", they've bee automatically added to the same subscription with no increase in price.

Hi everyone,

@Saildriver, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. That is right. You'll get a refund for the remaining period if you don't use your subscription after you cancel it. All Nest devices will be covered after adding them to the home structure that has your subscription.

@SEANAGAN, are you having problems getting a refund after cancelling your subscription or do you have a double or unauthorized charge? Let us know your update here.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Best,

Emerson
