How do I add Google Nest Cam (indoor) to my already established Nest Aware account?

How do I added Google Nest Cam to my already established Nest Aware Account. I've had it for years. I had to change the camera due to Verizon Router 'upgrade.'

It depends on what's actually happening in your situation. Did you add a NEW "Google Nest Cam" or are you trying to reinstall an existing camera? Which specific indoor camera do you have, a 1st gen camera or a 2nd gen camera (released after Sept. 2021)? When you say "established Nest Aware Account", are you using the Google Nest app or the Google Home app? (Nest Aware is a subscription, not an account.) When you say you had to "change the camera", what do you mean?

I've had Nest Cam Account / Nest Aware subscription for years. I had 1st gen Drop Cam; no longer worked with upgraded Verizon Router. I received 2nd gen Google Nest Cam (indoor) as replacement. I have both apps. Hope that answers everything.

It sounds like you may have had a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription on your Dropcam. If so, "As of July 13, 2023, Google will no longer sell new subscriptions of 1st gen Nest Aware. Any 1st gen subscriptions that you currently have will continue to renew." And "Once a subscription has been assigned to a camera, it can’t be moved to a different one." If this is the case, you will need to cancel your 1st gen subscription (you should get a pro-rated refund) and buy a (2nd gen) Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription, which have been available since 2020 and cover ALL of your cameras and doorbells. This is what you get with each subscription:

If you already had a (2nd gen) Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription, it should AUTOMATICALLY cover any camera or doorbell in the same Google Nest "home/structure".
