Is there a way to request a copy of an expired Nest Aware video that I need for legal reasons

Google Nest deletes all footage that is beyond your subscription:
"All video history is deleted on a rolling basis. This means that, depending on the Nest Aware subscription you have, older saved video is deleted from the cloud after a certain number of days." (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538)
It would probably be illegal or immoral for Google Nest to secretly keep video footage beyond the point where a customer has authorized them to do so in the form of a subscription.

So there is no recourse even in a legal case the clip online was longer than the clip I was able to download

Google Nest says they delete video history at the end of our subscription periods, and all the posts I've seen in this forum report the same thing.
If Google Nest were to keep the video history longer than that, they would be secretly keeping our personal video history longer than we've authorized them to and longer than they're telling us, and I think could face other liabilities. That's just my take on the situation.
