I pay for the nest aware subscription monthly for 30 days of past video and it charges my account every month, but does not seem to be saving the videos. They delete within three hours!

That's the behavior you get with the newer cameras if you do NOT have a subscription (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538?hl=en). Do you have more than one Google Nest "home/structure" or more than one Google Account, and could the subscription have been applied to the wrong Google Nest "home/structure" or Google Account?
You can check your subscription here; if you select your subscription, it will show which Google Nest "home/structure" it applies to:
https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-US
In the Google Home app, you can also go into Settings | Nest Aware and see which subscription you have for the Google Nest "home/structure" to which you are connected.
