Problems With Google Doorbell Camera Face ID

I have a Google Battery Doorbell set up with a Nest Aware subscription however I am having difficulties with the system identifying faces.

In particular, one of my adult daughters is regularly captured on the cam, however the app mis-identifies her as either her sister or her mother or even as "a person" but with no way for me to create her as her own Familiar Face or to transfer the mis-match to a new FF.

Is there any way of manually creating a Familiar Face or forcing the system to propose her as a new face and not one of the aforementioned options?

Every time she is mis-identified I then delete the snap from the relevant person's Familiar Face profile but the issue pops up each time she comes to the front door.   It is getting extremely frustrating that there doesn't seem to be any real flexibility being able to manually adjust the app.

Familiar faces can be moved with a recent update, and you should be able to rearrange and edit them. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and appreciate your feedback. Hi,

Thanks for responding but the information you provided has not helped with the issue.  I have checked my version of the app and there is no update notified so I presume I must have the latest.

 

I see no option to manually move a face between known people (i can see only merge accounts or delete faces), or even to manually create a new "known face" account and so then try to find a way to mov

 

It looks asgho the app is badly missing any option to do this.

I would suggest checking your app store and checking for the update. At the time of the update, it was going out in waves, but you should have it by now. What part of the world are you located in? I know there are some restrictions based on geographical location.
