Still getting billed for Nest Aware Cellular Backup subscription

Coobs

I noticed the other day that I've been getting billed for a Nest Aware annual subscription (Cellular Backup) for $50 alongside my Nest Aware annual subscription (1st gen). In a chat with Google support, I was informed that standalone Cellular Backup services were discontinued through Nest.com on July 9, 2019.  Looking at my Nest.com account order history, I was billed for cellular backup services four times since the service was discontinued ($50 x 4 years = $200).  Google support refused to issue me a refund for the renewal that occurred 4 days ago (let alone the other 3 years of useless subscriptions). From what I could tell, I was unable to view nor cancel the subscription on my Google and Nest accounts/apps. I went ahead and canceled my Nest Aware 1st gen subscription in the hopes that this will prevent any future charges. Thanks for the terrible customer experience, Google!
