Can I get a replacement button for my Nest Protect?

It appears to have become brittle and now has a hole in it.

It is out of warranty.

Hi energizr,

I appreciate you taking the time to write to the Community. While we don’t have any spare part replacements for the Nest Protect button, I’d like to take a look at this for you.

I need additional information from you that would be best shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further. This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done.

All the best,

Lance

Hey energizr,

We haven’t seen your form submission come through - were you able to access it alright? Let us know if you’re running into trouble or still need our help.

Yes, I received the link thanks but I'm wondering why you need this extra information, some of which is already available or supplied.

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear that request for additional information appeared redundant or unnecessary. We strive to gather as much relevant information as possible to provide accurate and helpful responses. Sometimes, requesting specific details allows us to better understand the context and provide more tailored and precise answers.

While I have access to a wide range of general knowledge, the information you provide helps us narrow down the scope and focus on your specific situation. It ensures that our responses are as relevant and applicable as possible to your unique circumstances. Additionally, asking for clarification or specific details can help us avoid making assumptions or providing incorrect information. It's always better to have a complete understanding of the situation to provide the most accurate support.

Thanks,

Zoe
