Yesterday I accidentally deleted my Google account and with it all of my cameras, thermostats and Protects. In the past I have never had an issue with a Google product and connections. Reinstalling the devices this time was different. I started with my Protects. (first mistake). I was successful installing the first Protect but the next attempt install failed over and over. I did ALL of the troubleshooting tips I could find. No success. Immediately I blamed Eero Network. IT WAS NOT EERO! I did disconnect (temporarily) my Echo Dots and an extra Eero AP. My issue was solved when I restarted my install and installed the Nest Thermostat, then older model Nest camera. I then added the first protect and it installed and so did the other 2 Protects. The Protects were the issue for in my opinion. Once I added the other devices the communication between them was a success. I hope my post is of some help.
