Can I check that I have named my smoke detectors correctly? a

I had an electrican install 9 Nest Smoke Detectors today and I was rushing through the set ups as to not hold him up and I want to make sure that I have named them correctly, that is the dining room smoke detector is actually named "dining room" and not "guest room" .  Is there a way to check this?

Thank You!

Hi @Mimi67

I would set the Pathlight feature in the Nest app to turn on the Protect's path way light with one of them. When it's dark you will see the ring light up as you pass under.

Alternatively, you could test it by pressing the button and checking the Nest app for notifications.

Thank You JillG!  😁it did pop into my head a few hours later that by activating the Pathlight feature one at a time could be a way to check that that I have named them correctly.
