I am unable to run a safety check from the app but able to from the device.
I have gone through all the troubleshooting options and it still won't work from the app.
Has anyone had this issue? Is it ok to not do a safety check from the app as long as I can test it from the device?
Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to hear if you're having trouble running a safety check from the Nest App. It's good to know that it's working to the actual Nest Protect. A few questions: How many Nest Protects do you have? Are they all 1st Gen or 2nd gen? Hit this link to know which Nest Protect you have.
If Safety Checkup couldn't start, your phone or tablet likely had a problem connecting to your Nest Protect. Move closer to the Nest Protect, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or tablet, and that Nest Protect is connected to Wi-Fi. To know more about this, hit this link.
