I have recently upgraded to BT Smart Hub2. All works OK except Nest Connect. The 6 existing Nest Connects talk to each but they are offline. Changing internet settings doesn’t work. I have restored one Nest Connect to factory setting and tried to connect it to the internet but it defaults to getting assistance from another Nest Protect and the connection fails after 5 minutes. Do I need to reset all existing Nest Connects to factory setting and start again? What about the network configuration already present on the Nest App on my phone? I have an Apple 13 phone.

Hi there,
I can imagine it has been an inconvenience, and I would love to look into this further for you. Have you tried to remove all of your connects, and try to connect on a single Nest Connect, if it connects to your Wi-Fi, then add the rest to see if they will connect to that Nest Connect? Please let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
Brad

Hi Brad, in the end I had to restore every single Nest protect to factory settings and reinstall them in the new network. I am surprised that Google has not thought of a better solution.

I can imagine that must have taken a long time to do. Did adding them all back solve the concern?

Brad
