Google Home/Neat not showing devices

I moved from my original home to a new home.  The protects at the old house are expired.  I added six protects in the new home and they were all showing up fine in the Nest App.  When I tried to add my wife to the account, Google forced me to “migrate” to the Google Home app.  I went through that process and now the Nest app only shows the expired devices (even though the address of the home is correct) and Google Home shows no devices.  Anyone have any ideas?   Nest Protect isn’t helping if they aren’t showing up in any app!

Sorry to say, but migrating your account killed your integrations.

Google originally promised to integrate Protect into Home, and appear to have had some minor success in a beta test a couple of years ago, but have since instead deleted all traces of their promises.

Your Protects now live in the Nest Home app, and since you no longer have an unmigrated account you cannot add them to Google Home.

Hello folks,

I'm sorry for the late reply. I wanted to ensure everything is clear.

Nest Protects are yet to be supported on the Google Home App. Only the Nest App is capable of adding, monitoring, and granting access to a home member. The existing Nest accounts or migrated email accounts to Google will continue to work without any changes. Just log in with the same email account associated with the Nest devices. Check this link about Nest Protect.

We're looking forward to bringing more features to Google Home App and please be assured that our team is working non-stop to bring the best features to the Google Nest devices.

If there’s anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Thanks,

Mark
