Google, just admit you don't care

It's been 2 years now since the last update on the changes for Works with Nest.

Google did not give us a reason why they had to change it, no updates on how long we have to wait, no reason why they are not able to perform this update without leaving a gap, they gave us no reason for anything.

Just admit you don't care at all to give users the ability to connect your Nest Protect with literally anything.

I want to connect my nest protect with my lights and generally have the ability to integrate my nest protect with other software
