Hello,
When someone presses the door bell on my Nest Doorbell (Gen 1 Wired), my 8 Nest Protect (Gen 2) Devices say "Someone's at the front door." Since they are not in sync they will each say it at a different times, spamming the entire house with it. Also, since these legally have to be in each bedroom it will wake people up taking naps etc.
I want to turn off that feature for certain Nest Protect. Looking at the Nest Doorbell, I see there is an option for "Turn on/off Visitor Announcements." However, this (as far as I understand) turns off ALL Nest Protect / Google products announcements (including notifications to other devices I have - like Google Hub, Google Speakers, and Google Wifi Mesh Network). I want to turn them off for the Nest Protect in the bedrooms only, and if it still seems spammy then maybe only have the office Nest Protect one talk to me. Basically play with it until I get it to be like I want too.
How to do that?

Hi, @viceo,
Thank you for posting in the community. I absolutely understand how disruptive those constant announcements from your Nest Protect can be when someone rings the doorbell. Let's work together to find a solution.
This article on managing Nest app notifications can help you turn them off: Nest app notifications.
Let me know if you have any trouble or need further assistance.
Best regards,
Ana.
