Impact of changing Google password on Nest Protect

I changed my Google password and now my Nest Protect will not connect to the wifi. Has anyone else solved this?

Does Google Nest's process of selecting Settings in the Google Nest app, selecting your Protect, going to Device Options > Wi-Fi connection, and then Next not work?

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I’m sorry to hear about the situation. I’d like to take a look at this for you. 
 

A few questions: How far have you gotten in pairing your device? Is there any message that shows on the app as you add your device to it? What’s the color of the LED status light? And how far is the device from the router? Also, are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.
