Upgraded from an Older NEST Tstat to a new Gen 4 Google Thermostat last week and all is good but my (2) Nest protect units dont show up in my Google Home app. My old NEST Tstat and (2) Protects used to all show up in my NEST app. I migrated successfully (I think?) My Google Home app shows the new Tstat but wont show the (2) NEST protect smoke/CO detectors. They are both Gen 2 so should show up. Do I need to factory reset them and then try to add to Google Home?

If you’re unable to find your Protect devices anywhere in the Google Home app, not by checking other "homes" you might have (tap the pin icon at the top left of the app) or looking under "local devices" towards the bottom of your devices list, this may mean your Nest account migration to a Google account isn’t complete. See the "Troubleshoot account migration issues" section of the help article linked below:
