Nest Protect 2ng Gen connected to WiFi network but not visible on it

Hi,

I have 4 Nest Protects. 3 wired and one battery.

All wired Protects can be seen by the router (they have an IP) and return a ping.

The battery Protect has an IP according to the app but isn't seen by the router nor returns a ping (?!)

The NEST app confirms that all 4 are 'online'.

Just performed the internet connection test and the device light glowed green in the end as evidence it has (re)connected, but also after that it was still not visible on my (WiFi) network.

Please advise.

@Spartannl

The Nest Protect shuts down the Wifi on the battery-only versions to save on the batteries. If you want to verify that they are working, you can press the middle button to wake it up, and you'll then be able to see it in the router.

@Patrick_Caezza , thanks for your prompt and come to think of it, rather obvious answer 😁

This topic can be resolved/closed as far as I'm concerned! Greetings from NL.
