Nest Protect Fire Alarm sounded but WIFI disconnected,

If my WIFI is down, what will happen when nest fire alarm goes off?

Hi @esh1024 ,

Your Protect will still work as a fully functioning  detector and will sound an alarm but you won't get notifications on your devices.  See more about this: Troubleshoot when Nest Protect disconnects or is offline - Google Nest Help 

You do need wifi to set up the Protect.
