I have two Nest Protects that have less than 30 days left on the warranty. Both have just failed less than a month from each other. Both with the same Smoke Sensor Failure issue. I have submitted multiple claim forms with Google but no one ever gets back to me. Google gives virtually zero support for failing units. How do I get my units replaced before the warranty expires?
This is ridiculous… $100+ smoke detectors. I also run Xsense in my house too, because I have heard there were issues with these units. Only reason I have them is to alert me of an issue when I’m away. But now I am down two of the three I own.
These are junk devices with zero support.

Contact your bank or credit card company to alert them of Google's failure to honor the warranty, and ask if they are able to help with a chargeback or not.
This lack of support is fraudulent.
At this point, Google is failing to honor their warranty. If you're in the US, file a report of fraud to the Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
(The FTC cant respond to your individual claim, but will use the report to establish a trend.)
Report this issue to the Consumer Product Safety Commission https://www.saferproducts.gov/IncidentReporting
Also contact your state's Attorney General.
