Nest protect in garage

Dan320is
Community Member

Hi, I have four protect smoke and CO2 alarms - two in the house, one in the shed and another in the garage.

Naturally the CO2 alarm goes off in the garage due to car exhaust fumes.

Is there a way to turn off the CO2 function on the garage protect only?

Otherwise, I'll have to remove it.

Thank you.

Hi Dan320is,

Thanks for posting here in the Community. I understand your concern about the option for enabling or disabling the CO feature of your Nest Protect. We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature through the Nest app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.

Regards,
Emerson
