Nest protect not sending notifications to my phone

Hi, I have tried all of the steps I can find on line. But these smoke detectors will not send me any notifications. The devices are connected to the WiFi, I can run a test from my phone and they will activate. However I tested the alarm with some smoke snd whilst they sounded the alarm I did not receive any notifications. Any ideas?

Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to hear about your Nest Protect not sending any notifications to your phone. I want to take a closer look into this. A few questions — were there recent changes made on the setup of your Nest Protect or phone recently? Are you unable to receive these notifications on a specific phone only or does it happen to any mobile devices where a Nest app is installed? Also, could you provide a rundown of all the steps that you've tried just to cover all the bases?
